Restoring the other 1936 Custom Imperial C11

Jon Clulow and John Boyd purchased a Chrysler Airflow C11 in late 2019 from a seller in the Pittsburgh area. As far as could be determined from Airflow Club records, there was only one drivable C11 remaining, a good condition survivor limousine now in Australia. This blog entry is about the other C11, the Clulow-Boyd sedan. During 2020, Jon had the engine rebuilt and assembled the car using parts included in the purchase supplemented by others drawn from his own stocks. At the end of 2020, we shipped the car to California for completion. We've made a lot of progress, but we aren't there yet.

The San Diego Region AACA, of which Boyd is a current officer, recognizes best progress on a regional restoration each year, and we prepared this short photo collection for our submission for 2021.
