I'm assembling a rolling display of Chrysler's most unique engines, and I want to include one of the 384.8 cubic inch, 9 main bearing flathead 8s that were used in the Airflow CW and other big Chryslers from 1931 to 1937. I want to include an overdrive transmission with the display. I plan to make the engine run, so the more complete it is, the better. The photo shows the beautifully restored 384 in Phil Putnam's 1935 Chrysler CW Custom Imperial restoration project a few years ago. This is the one I need. I know there aren't many around, but someone out there likely has one he's willing to sell, and I want to find him! Thanks for any help. Email me here if you know of any leads.
