Owen Billingsley, who earlier figured out how to reproduce 1936 DeSoto tail light lenses using resin casting, has added 1935 DeSoto lenses to his "product line". John Wagner provided a reproduction lens for a pattern. Owen repaired a small chip on the flange and made two molds for copying the lens. In the photo, the one on the right is the pattern, and the left one is the copy. Owen notes that, like 1936 DeSoto lenses, they are not quite round: the mounting flanges are about 1/8-inch taller than they are wide. Owen charges $130 per pair including free shipping in the US, and you can email him at this address.
