The Airflows that Weren't

Someone mentioned the model AH Airflow on the web the other day, and I recalled reading about some prototyping of additional Airflows in Don Butler's now out-of-print book, The Plymouth and DeSoto Story, published in about 1978 by Crestline Publishing Co., Inc., Sarasota Florida. He discusses 100-inch wheelbase, 220-pound curb weight baby Airflows, the model AH, and the model AG (larger) -- all designed by Chrysler engineering. Two AH models (photo) were built and road tested. Engineering management did not believe small cars would be needed, and these small versions did not enter production. (More photos and text)
